Now I'm a retired grandmother taking medication for diabetes and I still have the problem. Very itchy welts on my hands, arms and head, that keep me scratching all the time it's most severe on my scalp. Diagnosed as a severe case covering half of my body area:

I first acquired this itchy dermatitis on my right arm in 1982. Since that time it has progressively gotten worse and was recently diagnosed as a severe case covering half of my body area. I have seen dozens of specialists, both representing the medical and alternative medical professions, and tried numerous medications, products and treatments.

I have used various cocortcosteroids, including; Triamcinolone, Temovate, Fluocinonide and Dovonex with limited success.
